"I cannot recommend this park enough. Sheer peace and tranquillity broken only by the ducks tapping on the patio doors for their dinner. Absolute bliss and great value for money.....the ultimate gateway."

"The beautiful, peaceful and comfortable Wooda Lakes made for the perfect escape and was an ideal base from which to explore the Devon countryside and coast. The accommodation was comfortable with modern fixtures and yet had all the charm you would wish for in such a setting. Practical too, it catered even for my baby with a good cot and highchair provided. The only thing I would change was how long we went for - 5 days just was not enough. Thank you for such a wonderful holiday, we are sure to return very soon."

"A very peaceful park, away from eveything and not spoilt by too many log cabins in one area."

The village is bordered by wonderful coastlines and country walks, and its history can be traced back to before the Domesday Book. The heart of the village was built around its Norman Church and there are many small festivals and fairs throughout the year, including the ‘Woolsery Show’, which has been established since the 1800’s.
