Peacefully positioned well equipped and insulated these timber lodges offer you first class accommodation in a landscape of gently rolling countryside. Just 8 miles from sandy beaches this is an ideal touring base for Dumfries and Galloway Wigtownshire and the rest of Scotland's South West Border country. Golf, riding, fishing and sailing are available locally. Edinburgh is 100 miles by car.
You can also enjoy day trips to Ireland (fast Seacat or ferry) from Stranraer.

Threave Castle sits on a small island in the River Dee, and in another part of this great estate, Threave Gardens should please keen gardeners - both are easily accessible from our holiday lodges in Kirkcudbrightshire.

| "An excellent choice of a break for hiking over hills and forest and coastal trails. The amount of wildlife observed was outstanding and the accommodation was very clean, warm, quiet, and friendly to come home to after a whole day out trecking. We intend to return to this park later in the year as a one week break is insufficiant." |
