Monkswell House offers luxury holiday lodges and log cabins for holiday rental. These two attractive holiday properties, one a lovely 400 year old coach house and the other a well-appointed modern studio both within the owners' secluded grounds are set in idyllic countryside with direct access to Dartmoor National Park. Only 2 miles from the thriving market town of Tavistock with its indoor market, specialist shops and swimming pool. NT properties at Cotehele and Buckland Abbey are nearby and Plymouth with its famous naval history is only 13 miles distant. Within easy reach are the delightful fishing ports of Looe and Polperro, the Eden Project and fine sandy beaches at Bigbury and Polzeath. Golf club 1 mile. Fishing and cycle hire available locally and there are two village pubs and shops (15 minutes' walk).
