Fantastically positioned for exploring the beautiful surrounding area, you are within easy reach of a wealth of scenic and historic attractions.Conifers is a great base for golfers too, the park has an 18 hole golf course adjoining it and there are many other courses including the famous Turnberry less than an hour's drive away. Anglers are not forgotten too, they enjoy free fishing at nearby Palnure Burn together with abundant opportunites for sea and coarse fishing. This truly is the perfect setting for outdoor pursuits, the unspoilt Galloway Forest has many superb walking trails, and there are excellent mountain bike trails in Kirroughtree, with its Visitor Centre within 4 miles.The nearby area is packed with places to explore, such as sandy beaches, sheltered coves, picturesque fishing villages, castles, historic monuments and lovely gardens.Conifers has a choice of two or three bedroom Scandinavian timber lodges, some even with their very own hot tub, fantastic after a busy day out and about!
